In-Use tests

Cosmetic application tests, also known as in-use tests, verify the performance of cosmetic preparations. In these studies, consumer tests are carried out at home with a carefully selected group of test subjects. These are people of different ages with various skin problems, such as rosacea, vascular skin, dandruff or excessive sweating. The examinations at GBA Group take place under the supervision of doctors of various specialities, such as a dermatologist, dentist, gynaecologist, ophthalmologist or paediatrician. Experts in cosmetology and hairdressing also participate.

Application tests can be carried out in conjunction with professional facial and body treatments carried out by cosmetologists and hair treatments carried out by hairdressers. This type of research provides accurate results on the efficacy and safety of a cosmetic.

Application tests also assess the cosmetic’s effect on skin tolerance at the site of application. Regular application of the product according to the manufacturer’s recommendations allows us to understand how the skin reacts to the cosmetic over a certain period of time.

In-Use tests

They are carried out to assess cosmetics impact on skin tolerance at the application site during regular application of the product, according to the purpose of use for specified period of time (repetitive test).

In-use tests can be combined with professional
treatments (face and body) performed by
cosmetologists and professional hair treatments performed by hairdressers.

In-use tests are conducted on a diverse group of volunteers, of different ages, with various skin
problems e.g. rosacea, vascular skin, dandruff, hyperhidrosis etc.

In-use tests are conducted under the supervision and with participation of various medical specialists:
dermatologist, dentist, gynecologist, ophthalmologist, pediatrician and other specialists like: cosmetologist, hairdresser, podiatrist, trichologist.

These tests are performed in order to confirm or
exclude the product properties claimed on the
product label.
